Patients traveling internationally may qualify for our commercial airline stretcher service. This option offers a cost savings of up to fifty percent of the cost of air charter ambulance, while still providing the highest level of medical care. International patients are stretchered aboard a commercial jet with full advanced life support equipment by our international medical crew. 

While en-route, the medical transportation escort team rides in the back of the ambulance with the the patient and managed all aspects of her care.

Prior to take-off, the Aero jets crew assesses the patient and discussed the trip process thoroughly with the patient and family.

We will transfer your patient with utmost care and services. Recognizing the significant cost of Life Flight, we will provide you with several cost-effective options. Working with the case manager and the patient’s family, we can suggest several medically appropriate transport alternatives of varying price ranges, all which ensure the highest standard of medical care.

Luggage is limited on air charter jet flights due to the significant amount of medical equipment that is carried aboard air ambulances. Luggage generally is limited to three medium pieces in total. Our customers typically ship other non-essential materials prior to the trip.

Our medical transportation air ambulance flight coordinators will manage all aspects of the trip including communicating between sending and receiving physicians, gaining airline medical clearances, obtaining visas, ticketing, coordinating between international hospitals, ambulances, government agencies, and scheduling.

A partial list of supplies carried for StatFlight, and equipment, includes oxygen, ventilator, cardiac monitor/ defibrillator, suction equipment, full ACLS drug complement, IV supplies, resuscitation equipment, FAA approved stretchers, AC inverters and much more.

The flight coordinator sets an itinerary schedule between hospitals, doctors, case managers, ambulances and the family.   Meanwhile, our doctor coordinated between the sending and receiving physicians and developed a medical protocol for the patient and Life Flight flights.
